Projects in Development
Central & Main, Downtown Windsor
Active: Funding Phase
Central and Main is a plan for new, highly efficient construction at 133 Main Street in Windsor’s Historic Downtown District. With 30 mixed-income residential apartments the building will be accessible to vehicles via Central St and accessible to pedestrians via Main Street. The building design references the history of Windsor’s built environment while making the existing landscape inviting and accessible. This project has been shepherded by current property owner, Windsor Improvement Corporation, and is being facilitated through the feasibility and permitting phase by development partners WWHT and Evernorth.

Alice Holway Drive, Putney
Active
The Alice Holway Drive development will be 2 new buildings that will provide 25 mixed income, highly energy efficient apartments in Putney’s village center. The development will provide community space with a kitchenette and has been designed to not impact existing community gardens and the Putney Farmers’ Market on land. The proposed community meets smart-growth principles by creating more homes in the designated neighborhood development area, is immediately accessible to public transportation, connects with the walkable infrastructure of the town, and preserves the cherished community garden and farmers market while also providing homes at an accessible rent. The Chalet
Complete!
Formerly known as “Dalem’s Chalet”, the former motel in West Brattleboro has 35 newly renovated homes with on-site supportive services provided by Groundworks Collaborative. The development was funded largely through Corona Relief Funding as a measure to house our most vulnerable neighbors, those experiencing chronic homelessness and sheltering in motels. Renovations began in fall of 2020 and residents began moving in in Janurary 2021. Additional renovations continue to bring the effiecinecy of the building to a higher performance.
