Just two weeks ago, our computer screens were filled will familiar faces. Though once again, our Annual Meeting was hosted virtually, we felt the power and support of our community. We held space in the cherished memory of our friend Tom Yahn, we welcomed new board member Susan Brace, and featured engaging conversation between our keynote speakers Amber Arnold co-director of SUSU CommUNITY Farm and Chuck Collins, Institute for Policy Studies exploring how land and housing justice builds community.
Thank you to all who joined us. We loved hearing your reflections of community, belonging, safety, and home. For those who were unable to join us live, we recorded the event which can be viewed here with ASL interpreters pinned to the top left of the screen. We feel strongly that this is a deep, reflective, and ongoing conversation. We can’t wait to continue to have these conversations and advance racial and housing justice in building community.
