Brenda Torpy from Champlain Housing trust, Mike Rama from Downstreet, and WWHT Executive Director Elizabeth Bridgewater joined 162 other colleagues in Washington D.C. to advocate for NeighborWorks of America funding that strengthens communities all over the country. In WWHT’s corner of Vermont, NeighborWorks funding helped build Putney Landing (Putney), Great River Terrace (Brattleboro) and the Snow Block (Brattleboro). Senator Sanders, Senator Leahy and Representative Welch are all staunch supporters.
